 well i red chapter 3 and the author point of view is that fertilizer is bad and good  . the reason why the author says that fertilizer is bad is because it helps the plant grow but at the same time it is killing some of the things the plant needs.But the text States that now a days  how mos farmers use fertilizer to make their plants grow faster.
